City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 327 ~ Birthday Wishes

Hello Crafters!
This week at City Crafter I thought we would have a very useful challenge and make the kind of cards that are always needed - birthday cards.
Yes, that's all you have to do - make a birthday card!
We can't wait to see what you make.
~ Marina

Week 327 ~ Birthday Wishes

August Special Guest Star

I'm so honored to have been asked to join this talented group of ladies for the month! I have the most incredibly talented parents. My mom is an amazing artist and crafter and my dad a meticulous woodworker. I started drawing and painting as soon as I could hold a pencil. My mom had me embroidering and crocheting at age 7 and gave me a sewing machine when I turned 8. I had a full on woodworking shop long before it was fashionable. Gardening, woodworking pottery, sewing and stained glass kept me busy and earned me some money over the years. Since I was introduced to paper crafting I find that it consumes most of my time. I like that you can just stop in the middle of your project and come back and start up where you left off, easy peasy!! It is a fast moving and ever changing industry, I find it interesting trying to keep up with all the new trends. Also something important you should know about me is that I'm a Christian and try to live a life pleasing to the Lord.

We are happy to have Davi here for the month of August, I hope you enjoy her lovely work as much as we do here at CCCB, please stop by Davi's blog to take a look at her fabulous creativity.

Hello and good morning everyone!
It's Stella here and today it's my turn to host the new challenge.

Thank you
Miss you
Thinking of you
Happy birthday to you
But not:
It's your birthday
You're special to me etc.

Have fun!

Hello and good morning everyone!
It's Stella here and today it's my turn to host the new challenge.

This week it's about baking : )
Add a sweet treat such as cake, pie or a cupcake to your project, you can use your dies, stamps, patterned paper, embellishments or washi tape BUT if you don't have any of these items, you can use the colors of the photo, red and white, and optional a touch of pink.
